Default First Post - Help with AA, AK (TPTK) pressured on the turn

Hello,

Well I've been lurking for a few months and have finally decided to start contributing (hopefully something useful!). There are a lot of good posters here, so hopefully I can absorb all the constructive criticism and get better. Just as a preamble for the types of games I usually play

- Lately taking advantage of a lot of bonus oppurtunities (ie Pokerroom) at the 1/2 level

- If not playing for bonuses, I usually play at Party Poker (1/2 6-max, $50 NL, and sometimes 2/4), Pacific (2/4) and Pokerstars ($20 NL sng's)

I'm going to post a few 1/2 hands at Pokerroom since I haven't had a tonne of success thus far. Specifically, pocket AA.

This table is loose, passive, and is certainly wearing out the 'call' button.

Hand #1: This is a recurring them - You raise preflop, raise the flop, but are still led into on the turn. I'm starting to get the feeling that raising and folding on the same street wouldn't be a terrible idea.

PokerRoom 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, Hero raises, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (12.50 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 bets, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, Hero raises, CO folds, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls.

Turn: (10.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG+1 3-bets, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

River: (19.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 22.75 BB

Hand #2: I take it folding to the 3-bet is standard? I felt leading was still the best option on the turn. Opinions?

PokerRoom 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Flop: (13 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 raises, MP3 calls, CO folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 caps, MP3 calls, Hero calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (16.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)

River: (29.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls, MP3 calls, UTG calls.

Hand #1 - no problem there.

Hand #2 - I might have called down and pray instraed of folding top pair. Pot to big to fold AA with nothing stairing me in the face except bets.
