Default Good Pot Odds Play, or chip spewing?

I had seen UTG+2 limp then fold to raises many times. And I figured I only had to be good 1 out 3 times.

Tell me why you thought 76o was worth going all-in with against one all-in (admittedly short), and another player to act behind?

Seems like chip spewing to me, but I'm sure someone will straighten me out if i'm wrong. I don't like this play one bit though.

2.1 pot odds. Eh, I don't like it. Maybe with a bigger stack, but at best you're 1.7:1, at worst 4.6:1. I would guess the effective odds would be around 2.2:1. It's close, but I would fold because of your stack.

Definately chip spewing. You are not getting the right pot odds for 76o even if the other player folds. What if UTG+2 calls? He could have been limping with a big hand with the plan to limp reraise.

From purely an odds perspective it's probably about a wash. If I had a huge stack I would probably do exactly what you did but only if I felt strongly that my read on the UTG player is that he would fold. Any uncertainty whatsoever and that would tip the scale to a fold. With a smaller stack like your's, easy fold for me.

I agree totally. I give little or no thought to pot odds when the play will probably put me out of the tournament.
