I'm basically in the same boat as Entity. I realize this is my first post in 2+2, but have been lurking for a few months now.

I was already bonus whoring before really getting into the 2+2 threads and then accelerated it with Homer's great post for newbies. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Now I'm faced with a potential problem. I say potential, as I'm no expert on the rakeback/affiliate programs, but am under the impression that once you open an account at a site - there's no opportunity for a rakeback. Here's my situation.

Through my bonus whoring, I've opened accounts with many different sites (specifically: UB, Paradise, Party, Empire, PokerNow, Interpoker, Poker Plex, PokerRoom, and Pacific). After starting at 0.50/1.00 (1 table) I've worked my way up to 2/4, playing 3 tables at a time. While I have the br to play at 5/10, I'm still plugging leaks [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] and have set different goals for myself vs. just having 300-350x the BB. I expect to start adding 3/6 tables within the next 30 days. And this has created my concern.

In reading various posts, I've seen a number of people indicate that once you get to 3/6 and above (multi-tabling and playing a number of hours per week) that a player is better off with a rakeback vs. bonus whoring. In my research, I see the math and how it works. Is there a way to make the transition from being exclusively a bonus whore to someone who primarily gets rakeback and does some bonus whoring on the side? Or, am I hosed?
