i really don't know, this is a tough hand to play out of position, especially after the raise. my instincts on this are that he tried to scare you off your hand representing trips on the flop. nice bet on the turn, did you plan on folding to a raise? the fact that he just called your turn bet, I lean towards putting him on an overcard draw himself ...loose players love to coldcall w/ hands like KJ, KT, etc...i could be wrong about this, but i think you played it good.

b/c mp2 is loose, loose players love to take shots at the pot when rags flop. especially when the board is paired. you lead out on the turn, fold to a raise.

Because at the time it I felt that if I checked, then MP2 would have bet with anything to try to chase me out.

I still don't understand. You have nothing but 6 outs in a small pot. Chase you out of what? He could have a 4, a 7 or any other PP and still have a huge advantage.

be careful with this. "loose" can mean a lot of things. Do you want to risk 1/4 of your hourly win rate hoping he is doing this?

Actually I should have said 1/2. If you figure a decent win rate is 2 BB/100 hands (or hour) then this one bet could lose 1/2 your hourly win rate.
