Flop Top Two From BB... Action On The Turn
MP1 has only been at the table for about an orbit. It's pretty clear that he's loose, but I don't have a bead on agression yet. My guess is passive.
Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 folds, MP1 calls, 4 folds, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (3 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, SB folds. Turn: (2.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, MP1 raises, Hero 3-bets, MP1 calls. River: (8.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, MP1 raises, Hero calls. Final Pot: 12.50 BB What do you think about 3-betting the turn and betting out on the river? |

Re: Flop Top Two From BB... Action On The Turn
I'm raising this preflop from the BB pretty frequently, though it's marginal with only 3 players, you've likely got the best hand.
Flop, turn, and river look good to me. If your read really is passive on this player, then I might just check-call the river, but he's got 2pr far more often than he's got the straight. T8 is all I'm really scared of, and you're ahead of all other 2prs except AJ/AK. Rob |
