take the free card. If you had a pair (top) the turn bet has more merit, but people don't check-raise the flop and expect you to wilt right there (most know its a two street move), so you can't have any real expectation that a turn bet has any bluffing equity, so take a free card.

I call this just to find out what the [censored] he was doing. I'm guessing he decided to play all goofy with a flopped set, or had 54. But it's worth that big bet just to know .

(Hmmm, I wonder why I've been running bad . . .)

he shows me Q5o i take down the pot. He says, WTF how can you call with Q high. If he had just led the turn I was folding, but he went and cost himself 3 BB by checkraising me like that.

Why did you bet the turn? and why did you call the turn raise? Do you think you are ahead of a double CR, unless I had the player pegged as super tricky LAG I don't think I could call this. And I would check through the turn.

I bet the turn b/c i thought he was on a draw and I could make him fold it on the river if he missed thereby stealing the pot. I called the river because i was curious as to what he had that deserved a adouble check raise.
