Did I push too soon?

PStars $30 Pot Limit Tourney 250 players
Down to 40 players, just started back after 2nd break, blinds 300/600, I'm BB w/ T5500. Button seemed like a solid players, when showing down had good cards but also the type to make a button steal raise w/ anything. In retrospect, I'm thinking I should have called the PF raise and pushed on the flop. Any other thoughts? Thanks...

I wouldn't have pushed with K 9. Why not wait for a better opportunity?

Agreed, no push from me, I'd fold it. I prefer to be the instigator of aggression with K-x rather than call because the possibility of being up against A-x is too high.

I dont think i ve ever pushed anything on K-x only because like the other replies, your chance to be up against any Ace is way too high. Suited or not K-9 should be folded to minimize fluctuations in your stack.
