Re: Question about Future of Red Sox
IMO, beating out the Yankees for the pennant is BETTER than winning the world series (and I truly believe 9 out of 10 fans will agree.) I hate the Yankees, I love the Red Sox, I love the curse. My ideal situation would have been to face the Cubs in the world series (and lose game 7 on a Nomar home run that, just before landing foul, hit a stray bird and bounced off of Peskie's pole). At least that way the Cubs would stop trying to say that they have a real curse. That's no curse. We have the real curse.
(Also, I really hate Manny Ramierez, and that's why I want him to pull the Buckner. There are 3 Red Sox players I hate, and they are Manny Ramierez, Pedro Martinez, and BungHole Kim. In my opinion, they aren't even Red Sox. It has nothing to do with how long you've been here or what you've accomplished wearing our uniform, but with wanting to be here (ala Curt Schilling)) Let's lose this one in 7 to a crazy fluke! |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm just thankful your opinion doesn't count If you think the Red Sox would have even made the playoffs w/o Manny's 130 RBI and Pedro's 16 wins, you are delusional. I can't even believe I took the time to respond to this post. |

Are you on the team?
'our uniform'.
9 out of 10 fans would agree. (Only in Rhody) There is no curse, never was. You're just another miserable member of the fellowship that I laugh at during my drive home from work. What a marooon. |
