Default Hands per hour in casinos

Does anyone know on average how many hands an hour you can see playing in AC? I generally play at the Taj and have been meaning to try and keep track, but I usually forget. Also, how many hands per hour playing 1 table online? I am just curious so I can compare.

On a side note, did anyone ever get "Joe'd" at the Taj? Hes that dealer with Parkinsons Disease or something. When that guy sits down I generally take a walk for a few minutes or grab a drink. Hes a nice guy and I feel bad for him, but hes insanely slow (obviously). Anyways, just thought it would be funny if anyone else on here knew what I was talking about.

Yes, I know exactly who you are talking about. He was the second dealer I had on my first B&M trip. Some guy I was playing with mentioned that he had been dealing there for a long time. He was probably a good dealer back in the day so management would feel bad letting him go.

Yeah, hes a nice guy, but its just funny cause hes so slow. I have seen people be rude to him, usually drunks, which is pretty screwed up.

hand/hr live is usually 25-30.
Online it's about 60/hr at a full game, 90/hr at a SH table.

dont listen to evan. Only the slowest dealers are that bad. (I have actually seen worse) But I work in the business. 32-42 is the slower end to upper end. This is often dependent on the players acting fast too tho.

Good dealers, so long as the players realize that their not at the final table at a WPT, can get out over 20 hands in a down. The best can get out over 25.

So assuming an average mix of dealers (and players) 35 hands/hr minimum is a reasonable guess. If you get lucky in the dealer rotation, you can get more that 40 hands/hr

Okay, maybe I was on the low end, but I don't think I've ever seen 40 hands/hr. I'll give you 30-35, any more than that and I'd say you're really pushing it.

Then I must be playing with only the slowest dealers at least 1/2 the time in AC, Vegas, Phoenix, and NYC. Nobody is doubting your ability bigfishead, I'm sure you are super speedy (in fact I'm tempted to fly down to Tunica, it would be a very productive day!)... but your speed is the exception to the rule in most rooms I have visited. 30-35 seems the low & high norm, 40 with a good dealer, and its possible to pull in 5 orbits with a super back to back team of dealers and a fast bunch of players. I recently played at the Mirage where for 2 hours we only made it through 1 and 1/3 orbits per dealer. It was horrible!

I usually play in Shreveport, LA where it's 10 handed and I just count the number of times i have the button for each dealer. On average I get the button twice in the dealer's 30 minute shift which comes out to 40 hph.

my brother years ago when he was dealing, in a game where action was fast, was known to get out 45+.

personally I am in the area of 34-38 on avg. 40 for me is only possible with quickest players. My hands are just too slow and sore to do better anymore.
