pocket KK. when \"probable\" set?
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (8 handed)
Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. MP2 posts a blind of $0.50. UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 (poster) checks, Hero raises, Button calls, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, MP2 calls. Flop: (9.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) UTG bets, MP2 folds, Hero raises, Button calls, UTG calls. Turn: (7.75 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG bets, Hero calls, Button folds. River: (9.75 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 11.75 BB My question is was it right to call it down, or should i have folded the turn. He probably had the queen when he continued betting after my flop raise. |

Re: pocket KK. when \"probable\" set?
Is the pot size worth it? You have to win more then 12% of the time to make the turn call. Basically, are you ahead more then 12% of the time if not you are drawing to 2 outs. If you are very sure he has the Q then fold. It all depends on your read.

I think you can and should lay it down here. It's very likely he's got the Q here. It's not a huge pot, save the bets.
