Default Re: 15-30 game too tight on the flop?

[ QUOTE ]
15-30 live game. Unknown player raises in early position, I make it 3 bets with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] folded around to the raiser who calls. Flop is Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Ep player bets pretty quick, and I fold.
Next hand I pick up 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and open raise in middle position. Both blinds call. Flop is 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]j [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Small blind who is an unknown player bets, bb folds and I fold.
Am I playing too tight here?

Wrong forum.

Hand 1 is a clear mistake, btw. With 7.5 small bets and 1 more to see the turn, no way you fold. Question is, do you raise...

Hand 2 I probably fold too, but I dont know enough about limit to make this a call or raise. My instincts say you're right, though.
