Re: New Portable Texas Hold\'em Poker Table Tables Top
How do you think the seating would be for 10 players? I already made a 48"x96" table with folding legs which is roomy, but difficult to transport. I'm wondering if the 42"x82" is really playable with 10. I might try to construct a similar design or look into getting one of these.
Thanks. |

I don't like having more than eight to a table. However, I wanted a comfortable eight seater, so a ten man table for eight people is good for me. Ten |

Re: New Portable Texas Hold\'em Poker Table Tables Top
So do you put a regular card table under the table top? or two card tables? seems like if you put an elbow on the table everthing would tip up and go flying.

[/ QUOTE ] No, I used a folding table, the rectangle kind. See here: http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?...&id=369009 There's not much overhang on the edges, only a few inches for me. The topper is heavy enough that an elbow on the edge won't tip it at all. Ten |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ADME:B:SS:US:1 "New Portable Texas Hold'em Poker Table Tables Top" I'm very interested in getting one of these, but not at $60 shipping. Anyone know of another place, on the web, to get a nice folding table top like this for a good price, but less shipping? Ten [/ QUOTE ] I bought two myself. I'll post a small review too. Ten [/ QUOTE ] I got them today. They seem ok. They are like a standard 8 seat oval, same size, but a table top instead opf a full table. I placed one on a regular folding table, with non-slip rubbery stuff beneath the table top. It doesn't want to move at all. Padded felt, thinly padded rail, cup holders in rail. It trifolds. Kinda heavy. The "hinges" are just extra vinly backing, and I'll see how they hold up. The hinges don't look super sturdy. Overall the table tops are nicer than I could make myself, that's for sure. And I can tuck them in the closet and still use the tables for other things since the poker top is not attached. Ten [/ QUOTE ] How's the quality of the felt. The one that I have balls up (like fur balls) after some use. Thanks. |
