Poker Table Builders......in Seattle?
First of all, Just like to say this is my first post on the forums (although I've been reading for a while). Great to have such a big forum dedicated to poker.
I'm looking for people in Seattle who've taken on the task of building a poker table. I'd like to start my own table and would like the knowledge and possibly assistance of other local builders as I go through the process. Responses from all table builders are appreciated, especially the local ones . |

Re: Poker Table Builders......in Seattle?
I have not built a poker table, but I am a woodworker. If you have questions reguarding that part of the deal, then I'd be happy to help. I do live in the Seattle area.
I am going to start building a smaller version of the table seen on this years championship here shortly. Complete with lights between the arm rest and table surface. Cheers, John www.pokerchipreviews.com |

Regarding Poker chips as well
Good to know that there's someone I can ask a question or two to incase I need some help with my table here in Seattle. I'm also interested in maybe sampling the chips you've reviewed if you still have them all. Maybe sometime we can meet and I can test out your table when you make it or check out the chip samples you have around.

I've built two, and I'm down in Olympia. Getting ready to build a 3rd for a friend.
PM me if you have specific questions, etc. There are a couple of places you can get materials from locally that are good. |

Re: Regarding Poker chips as well
Fine by me. I usually keep most of my samples at my office where I can get feedback from my coworkers. Maybe we can hit lunch. PM or email me.

Re: Poker Table Builders......in Seattle?
Just an observation -- Wouldn't a round table be better for most home games? The guy that hosts my games just got an oval table like the ones in most of the pics I see. We play dealers choice. If you're all the way on the end, it's a pain to deal. I always try to get a spot near the center because of this.
