Re: binion\'s 1/2 NL hand
With the amount that is in the pot it is going to be a tough turn fold.
I for one, barring an incredible read, am going to the felt on this one. However, you are not fearing any cards, so checking may induce a bet from a KJ with King of spades who just hit trips and has outs to improve. Regardless you are going all in....but *he* may not be. Give yourself a 2nd way of taking his money....let him bet. jw |

Re: binion\'s 1/2 NL hand
yeah after thinking about the push on the turn i felt like a check-call was a much better line.

Re: binion\'s 1/2 NL hand
how about the flop line, is that pretty standard in these situations?

[/ QUOTE ] There really is no "standard" way to play the nuts on the flop, it depends on the players involved, the stacks involved and how your opponents view you. I generally have a somewhat tight/tricky image in live games so I wouldn't hesitate to push all in on the flop, you have a bet and a raise to you and you're holding the nuts + a pot sized raise is more than half your stack...push them in. |

Re: binion\'s 1/2 NL hand
as i feared the button had flopped a set of 5s and filled up on the turn, calling my push with no extra thought.
the more i think about it the more i like pushing on the flop after the check raise by the cutoff. thanks for all your input. |
