When I have 3000 chips, 100 bet into me. I raise to 2900 chips (not all in, still have 100 chips left).
How would you read me? Try to force you to fold (a weak hand)? or Try to invite you to call (a strong hand)? |

I would reraise and make you fold!

What are you saving your remaining 100 chips for? Staging a late night comeback in case you lose? :-)

If this is the first time you've made this move I'm gonna call if I have AA or KK or fold. I've no idea what you're trying to represent. Either you have a hand or are making a poor move.

Sorry, this is an after flop bet in case it is not clear.
Assume there is 100 chip in the pot, 100 bet into me after the flop. I raise to 2900 chips (keep 100 in my stack). I like to know how people will interpret my bet (strong hand, week hand, bluffing, ...etc) |

A lot would depend on previous reads. If you were massively overbetting the pot every hand, then I've got to figure you're bluffing a decent percentage of the time. If you have rarely played a pot and haven't raised a hand, then, I'd assume you've got a really strong hand.
However, if I have no previous information about you, I've got to assume strength. I'm not going to risk presumably most (if not all) of my stack with a mediocre hand hoping that you're making a bluff. |

Well considering I dont know who the hell you are and dont know the board, I couldnt possibly say what I think you have.
Raising that much could mean anything, it depends on the board and what type of player you are. |

Isn't this exactly what that one guy did twice this year in the WSOP?
He would bet slightly less than the other person had, wait till they pushed all in, then call as if it was obvious that was gonna happen. He was the guy who went out 4th or so, and told 2nd place to "bust [raymer's] ass" |

If online you believe I'm multitabling and you're hoping I'll misclick and fold when you put the rest in on the next round.
It happens. Just hope you don't suffer the same problem and accidentally fold to my reraise. |
