Default Multi-table effect

Hey guys,
I was just curious as to what effect playing more than 1 table at a time online has on your bankroll. Obviously, it is supposed to increase your "hours" at the table, thereby more money made. But does it increase your variance also? Is playing 1 hour at two table exactly the same as playing 2 hours at one table? My question gets down to this: Do you need a bigger bankroll to play multiple tables? Any help would be appreciated.

This has been discussed at length, and recently too.
The short answer is no, it isn't exactly the same, and no, you don't need a bigger bankroll

This has been answered about a million times on here and a quick search will find the answer for you.

Basically, if you could play exactly the same at 2 tabels as one you wouldn't need a larger BR; however, most people suffer a loss in their quality of play when multi-tabling which reduces their win-rate from what they could earn playing one table. This isn't enough of a drop to usually make it not worth playing multiple tables, but is enough to create a moderate (prolly around 20-30%) increase in BR requirements.

If you want to see some math to back up this statement do a search.
