Re: Motor City Casino
I live in suburban Detroit, and I wouldn't say the city is "far better" than it was 5 years ago. Crime is up, and the city is as ugly as ever. I know a lot of people who still do their gambling in Windsor, and as for the new stadiums, people going to a sporting event get back on the freeway and head out of the city limits as fast as they can when the game is over. I won't go near a Detroit casino, but I will go to Casino Windsor when they get their poker room open.

Re: Motor City Casino
How dare you call yourself "Mr.Detroit." If anyone should defend the city it should be you. Oh well, maybe one day a
real rain will come and wash all the scum off the streets. I play at Motorcity on occasion, but I usually play at Greektown. Motorcity is MUCH looser than Greektown, I've been at tables where it was 9-10 players on average seeing the flop with 3-5 staying to the river, limit 5/10. It's great to play there if you sit down with 40 BB's to ride out the massive fluctuations. When you don't get the cards though you want to pull your hair out. |
