OK, I realize this post is old, however, I found a better route this morning that actually goes right through my home town (Senatobia, MS). I had to go pick up my son East of Holly Springs, MS and I was surprised how nice the roads were.

From Hwy 78, take Hwy 7 in Holly Springs South for 1 1/2 to 2 miles then West on Hwy 4. This is a nice road for this area and scarcely traveled (so you can fly!!!!). Hwy 4 takes you right into the town of Tunica (about 35-40 miles), which will put you about 10-12 miles South of the casinos. Take Hwy 61 north (or if you know the area a little better you can actually take Hwy 3 North).
