The only thing I do differently is straight-up move in on the turn. At your level SnG it's possible the guy thought he had folding equity....

P.S. Stop posting bad beat stories.

I play the flop the same as you maybe 85% of the time.

If I think I have utterly terrible calling station opponents, I will occasionally wait for the turn and hope a blank falls so they can draw to one card instead of two, however that would still have you doomed in this instance anyway, and it's a play that should only be used in extreme circumstances.

do you really think this guy thought he had folding equity? he probably does'nt know what it means...i myself am still trying to understand the definition. maybe he was looking at a pair of Tens and if he's beat, he also has a straight draw too.

Try not to second guess yourself too much.

Many of these people just see their cards and play them if they think they can make a big hand, or if they have a big hand and fold them otherwise.

Of course, a big hand is often defined differently by them as it is to most of us.

no, i mean durron stated the guy may have thought he had folding equity. i'm thinking, "me got 10s and me got King, looks good to me, i call you".

He probably "didn't think he had fold equity", he thought "well, if I move in on him he might fold."

Don't get tricky and value bet 2/3 of your stack.

And the important point of my post was that I would appreciate you not posting bad beat stories anymore; it seems like every post of yours is "I got bad beated... was there anything I could do?" Read AleoMagus's recent post on the subject.
