an interesting hand posted in the smaller stakes....
ok, it's empire $50 nl. not quite high stakes, but imo a very interesting question.
hero has KJo no clubs(in the post hero didnt say the suits of his cards, so i'm guessing here) in the sb utg+2 is not as good as his stack suggests. utg+2 limps (220), button limps (51), sb (125) calls, bb calls(80). flop Q 10 9 all clubs. Pot $3.80 hero bets $3, bb folds, utg+2 raises to $6, button raises allin. Should hero fold? Does hero wish to create a side pot with utg? What is the plan for the turn? Cheers Harry |

Re: an interesting hand posted in the smaller stakes....
It's a pretty easy fold, as the pot is nothing. Hero has far from the nuts and is not that likely to have his hand hold up.

Re: an interesting hand posted in the smaller stakes....
To me, this is a very, very easy fold. The pot is small, we have the not-even-close-to-the-nuts with no redraws, we may already be drawing completely dead and in the event that we are not yet dead, there are a zillion cards waiting to beat us or force a split.

Whats so interesting about this hand? If neither button nor UTG+2 has a flush here, they will the vast majority of the time. Clear fold.

Re: an interesting hand posted in the smaller stakes....
Yeah, I posted this hand. I folded and both the other players got allin with J8. One of them had a club but they ended up splitting the pot. That's a testament to how good these guys are. I'll just take their money with the flush next time.
