Hands for review
I have a lot of trouble telling when I'm way ahead or way behind in these hands, I've only recently started limit play and I'm not completely adjusted, these are a few hands that I think I may have played badly. Please let me know any adjustments that you would make to the way these were played.

Re: Hands for review
In hand 1, I think you have to assume you're ahead. The opponent your up against called 2 bets cold with very little money in the pot - a pretty bad decision with KT - even for a micro-limit player. Thus, I think you need to keep tossing money in this pot.
In Hand 2, the button cold-calls 3 bets, which is indicative of a pretty strong hand. If you had a read on him as a player - whether he's loose or passive - now would be the time to use it. I can't imagine anyone not capping this betting with KK - it just seems like its automatic - if faced with the decision to call 3 bets or cap with KK, I can't think there are that many micro players who wouldn't cap it. So, I'm going to put the opponent on either AK or KQ here. The only hand you fear is KK (I really don't see him holding 22 here...) and his pre-flop play really doesn't indicate KK. I think I cap here just because I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror tomorrow morning if I limited the betting with my full house - but I wouldn't be totally surprised if I lost to KK. |
