Help with no-limit cash game
Anyone want to help me with my No-limit cash game? Apparently I am terrible at it, i have been losing steadily for a week. I would like to be able to at least sit down with SR and not go broke in five minutes. I am a successfull no-limit tourney player(my only income), and before that, just played limit hold-em ring games, and was a winner at that. I am apparently missing something obvious. Any help would be appreciated, if you need or want money for it, that isn't a problem, but I am a little suspect of someone teaching me to play who needs money. Anyway, just respond here, or email me. Thanks for any help.

Re: Help with no-limit cash game
who else? I would love to sit down with him and throw money at him...I am fearless about that part of it. But I can't beat the 5/10 game, so i am not going to just give it too him.

Re: Help with no-limit cash game
Just play me instead. I coach SR. It would be an even greater accomplishment. Let me know where and when you want to play. I have trouble beating the 5/10 games, but I can kill the 50/100NL at prima.

Re: Help with no-limit cash game
How many more details do you want than "I have been losing steadily for a week"? I don't really know why I am losing, I have tried different tactics, and none work, maybe it is just bad luck, but I really doubt it, sometimes, i just don't really know what the right move is. In a NL tourney, I always know what the right move is, at least what my right move is.

Re: Help with no-limit cash game
you should post some hands to this forum that you feel unsure about, and everyone will comment. that's what these forums are for.

A few comments. 1) If you really dont have much experience with NL cash games, you should consider starting at lower stakes that $5/$10 or playing against Spirit Rock. 2) Asking for help is what these forums are for....You should not need to pay for it. However, if you are looking for one-on-one tutoring, be prepared to pay. And because they ask for money is not because they need it, per se, but because their time and work are not free. Good luck, jw |
