You did everything right on this hand. You cannot fold this on the river. Your trips will be good often enough to make this call. BB may just have made 2 pair on the river.

Isn't it more likely he hit some lousy two pair than a straight? I think you played it fine, maybe even re-raise?

I didn't have enough hands to get an accurate read on BB, but couldn't he have checked the turn to get overcalls with a made flush? I agree that the straight is unlikely, but the raise put alarm bells in my head. (Weak-tight ones, apparently)
Would a call be in order with a overly passive opponent, and is there any scenario where you would lay this down? -d |

Sure he could have a flush but he could have a lot more. |
