I got a Compaq 17 inch 7550 for like $130 and it is 1600 x 1200 res and I can turn that puppy all the way up to 1600 x 1200 and fit as many tables in there as I want it looks like. Its nice but I decided one table is enough for now but just passing on the info man.

Why not just get yourself a nice 19" crt monitor for around $100 or so(I just got a 19" kds flat screen 1600 x 1200 resolution for under $80 after rebates) and invest that $500+ you just saved on a product that will not hold value and will only last a few years.

Default CRT CRT CRT

Unless you absolutely need a light-weight monitor, its foolish to buy anything other than a CRT. CRTs are better than LCDs in every catagory, 'cept size and energy consumption. I just bought a 21" CRT, res 2048 x 1536, for $430 from Amazon, free shipping. Its a monster, for sure, but I can fit 9 tables on the screen with very little overlap. Cha-ching.

To get the same resolution in an LCD, I woulda had to pay over $2000.

If a 21" CRT is too big for you try this one Viewsonic

It will do 2048x1536 also for about half the price. Plus if you do any gaming it is a truly beautiful monitor for that as well.

I got a kds 19" flat screen from office depot last week when they had their 18th anniversary sale. The list price was 199 and they took 20 off for the sale, then I found an online coupon for 30 more off and they 2 rebates that totaled $80. price I will pay after rebates is just under $80 which IMO is a great deal. I found this deal at www.slickdeals.net. That site has cost me so much money but sometimes deals like this are too good to pass up. They cost me another 800 this morning when they posted some great dell laptops for about $800 after $500 instant discount and $200 mail in rebate. I got the 700m(intel centrino 1.6 256mb ram, wireless, 12.1 inch wide screen, and under 5lbs) for $808 after rebates shipped. Unreal deal.
