Default Live game noob question

I'm going on vacation to New Orleans this weekend and will be playing in what is only my second live game. I didn't think about it the first time I played in one (about a year ago), but what would be an appropriate amount to buy in for on a 2/4 table? I want to make sure that I have plenty of chips, but definitely want to avoid looking like the jackass who dumps his entire BR on the table because he thinks it's "intimidating". Is there a general guideline that you more experienced live players out there use? I was thinking buy in for $200 (50 BB) would be a nice middle ground, thoughts?
Thanks in advance for the responses.

I play a bit of 2/4 and usually buy in for a rack ($100). Usually more than enough to handle the fluctuation.

never played 2/4 but around here 3/6 is the standard game. Most people by in for a rack, some people for 2, anything over that you come across as the goon trying to look tough. So for 2/4 I"d have to agree that a rack is good, but keep atleast another hundred in your pocket and bring it if you drop below say $40.00. It's very uncommon in a fame that sized that you wil need more than $40.00 for one hand.

25 bb is good.. i'd never buy in for less. also i'd never buy in for more than 50bb unless it was for a specific purpose, like 2kflushes at the mirage.

Wanna have some fun?

Buy in for $2,000. Wear a huge hat, mirror shades and a wig with hair down to your arse. On EVERY flop yell "Holy Cow!" and raise.

Let me know how it goes.
