Default My Bad Experinecs With VIPSorts and Intertops!

Hello,
I would like to tell you of my experience with two sportsbooks on your list. I have been with VIPSports.com for over 3 years now. I play in spurts. Sometimes I play 3 months a lot and then take a few months off. Well about three ago I made a 7 game prop bet parlay for $10 on the Sunday Night Football Game. I hit everyone of the options and won $900 and change. Well low and behold I wake up the next morning and they are saying that I missed one(the Punt/Touchbacks OVER 1.5 bet). I watched the game, there were 3 punts that went into the endzone and were brought out to the 20, and anyone with the internet could see this stat on several different websites. Well to make a long story short, I had to call and complain several times until they credited my account. Well I shook off the bad experince and continued to play with them, albeit not for awhile. Well problems occour again when I hit my $10 6 game prop bet parlay for $272. I went to bed and when I woke up around 10:00 A.M. the parlay wasnt graded. So I called their 800 number to find out why. The lady on the phone (very nice), told me that would finish grading it now and the credit would be there shortly. I asked why it takes over 10 hours after the game to finish grading my parlay. (By the way they had graded 5 of the 6 selections 2 mins after the game was over, but refused to grade the Punt/Touchbacks UNDER1.5 bet). So the nice lady put Joe the sports manager on the phone. I asked him why does it take over 10 hours to grade the last bet of my parlay. Well right out of the gate he acts like its my fault. Talking to me in a condescending and belittling way. He told me and I quote, "Listen, we do not keep extra staff on to grade your $10 parlay". That quote says to me that I am just a low life that bet a measly $10 on a game, why waste his and his staffs time ( Just so you know, I have made bets on their site as high as $600 before). He then told me that no one stayed to the end of the game, so they couldnt grade my parlay. Well that was funny considring I had a bet on the last play of the game (Any other play thatn a quarterback Kneel), and that was graded. Funny how that bet got graded and not the other one. Well after I told him that, he got more upset with me. I simply said thank you to Joe, went to the cashier and cashed out all my money. HERE IS THEIR RESPOSE TO MY COMPLAINT VIA EMAIL: (This is cut and pasted from my second email account cmjustice1@hotmail.com.

Chris

I'm sorry for the late response to your problem concerning our company. It
looks that you have been playing with us for quite some time, I hope that you
will not let the grade of your parlay deter you from playing with us in the
future. With all the wagers that you have placed with VIP, I would hope that
your experience would have been more positive than negative.
I want to apologize for anybody that has ever treated you unkind here at VIP. I
have spoke with Joe and he is very sorry for what he said to you, he was having
a bad day and took it out on you. The reason for the late grade was that they
were having problems with the grading system which prevented your account from
being updated.
After looking at your account I noticed that you have not been taking advantage
of our rewards program. If you go to www.viprewards.com and fill out the
information, you will be able to redeem all of your past points for cash in your
wagering account. If you have any questions about the rewards program feel free
to contact us at anytime.

Regards,

Vince Polar
VIP Rewards Manager

Vince's rebuttal was that Joe was having a bad day and took it out on me. Is it just me or is that bad business when your managers take their problems out on customers? Now VInce Polar blames the late grading of the parlay on a software problem. So bacically Vince is calling Joe a liar, because Joe said he did not keep extra staff on and that no one stayed until the end of the game. Joe has been caught in about 3 lies and took his bad day out on me. I am done with VIPSports, but thought you might like to know how they treat long time members.

Intertops Sportsbook,

Once I had the conflict with VIPSports.com, I put money on Intertops.com. They are currently running a promotion that if you make a $20 bet, you get a $20 bet on the house. Well I put money on there for the Sunday games. I made 5 bets in 10 mins. One of the bets was for $20 to assure that I would get the free bet. They emailed me back and said they refuse to give me the $20 bet because I didnt make the bet first. Here is a copy and pasted list of my bets:
Oct 02,2004 22:21 Neteller +125.00 125.00
Oct 03,2004 02:23 Bet Placed Parlay -10.00 115.00
Oct 03,2004 02:25 Bet Placed Parlay -10.00 105.00
Oct 03,2004 02:26 Bet Placed Parlay -10.00 95.00
Oct 03,2004 02:28 Bet Placed Teaser -15.00 80.00
Oct 03,2004 02:33 Bet Placed Teaser -20.00 60.00

As you can see I made 5 bets within 10 mins of each other. But they say since I put them out of order they will not honor the $20 free play. This is splitting hairs if I have ever seen splitting hairs. Well to make a long story short after a phone call and 3 emails they refused, so I have tried to withdraw my money (which by the way still says is in my account even though I cashed out 46 hours ago). I thought the free play was as long as I made my 1st $20 bet I would recieve the money, I did not think the order would matter. Its not like I made a $10 bet and then waited to see if I won and then made the $20 bet. I placed them all back to back. But instead of trying to make a customer happy and trying to keep a customer on their site, and trying to have this customer tell his friends good things about them, they decided to just not give me the $20 free play and screw me. I hope my money is in my Neteller account soon. Please reply and tell me if I am over reacting or if you belive these are legitimate complaints. Thanks Jesus

This is just petty sh!t you have to deal with from a lot of online books. yea you should be pissed but its not the worst thing ive seen. cancling bets right before a game starts because the line moved to much is much worse and unfortunaley happens to often

I can honestly say this. Other than the couple of problems I have had with VIP, they have been great. They cashout quick and the software is user friendly. But I dont feel I need to be mistreated in a market with a lot more options. When I feel that a company does not put their interest in the customer I pack up and leave. Jesus

1. Try paragraphs
2. The lines on intertops are pretty bad typically
3. Why are you placing a parlay involving number of punts/touchbacks? What a silly prop-bet.
4. I don't think Intertops screwed you at all. the rules for their free bet are stated in the T&C's. If I want to take advantage of a poker-room deposit bonus and I deposit $100 first and then $500 right after that I will still only get the bonus based on my $100 deposit.
5. Based on your general tone in these posts I suspect you helped to exaserbate whatever it was your phone problem with VIP was.

What are you talking about?

A) Intertops has very comparable lines to everyone. They were the only site I saw offering Jax at +4.5, which is the game I really liked. The worst lines on the net are at MyBookie.com and the best are at Pinnacle.com this is undisputed. But this is irrelevant to the post

B) I placed the parlay to make the games action more exciting, which is irrelevant to the my original post.

C) I agree with your depostit situation, but my situation is differnet. If it states on your 1st $20 bet you will recieve a free play of $20 then when I made my 1st $20 bet they should of giving me my free play. You see I made my 1st $10 bet, my 2nd $10 bet, my 3rd $10 bet, my 1st $15 bet and my 1st $20 bet. I made all these best in a matter of 10 minutes. It was easy to see that I misurderstood the official rule. And this whole problem could have easily been soved, but Intertops chose ohterwise.

D) How can you hear tones through written words. I was extremely pleasant with Joe. If you call VIP and ask him I believe he will say they same. Hence this is the reason they emailed me and he apogized. Where was my rudedness or tone at. Maybe it was in the statement at the end of the conversation when I thanked him after he was rude to me. Yeah maybe that was when.

E) You are entitled to your opinion, but this response from you was:
1) Retarded
2) Mostly Irrelevant.
3) Made you look by your "Tones", to be a
complete "Jackass".

Thank you sir and good day. Jesus

I believe the rules of intertops are that they will give you a free bet of up to $20 depending on your 1st bet you make after depositing. The same thing happened to me but $10 is nothing to get all worked up about. Good luck in finding a book that makes you 100% happy.

You are exactly right about getting worked up. Its not worth it. But is it asking to much for a sportsbook to provide a honest reliable service and treat their customers with respect. Last time I checked we were the ones that paid their grocery, electric, mercedes payments, mortgage, and various misc bills. If it wasnt for us they would not get a piece of the billions of dollars that we spend every year.
That said, I will search until I find one that does. Its your hard earned money, so why settle for just any piece of chit company that thinks only about themselves and not their customers. Jesus

My friend Eric deposited $50 on Pary Poker thinking that he got $25 for free. Well come to find out is was a 20% sign up bonus. He called them and told them had he known it was a 20% and not a flat $25, he would of deposted more so that he could get a bigger bonus. This is the weird part: They told him they understood and said he could deposit as much as he wants amd recieve a 20% sign up bonus up to a $100.

Thats weird a company realizing that the customer sometimes makes a mistake, yet they want to help them. They want their business. They want them to be happy and tell other people(kinda like my friend told me) about their operation.
What in the hell are they thinking. That is amazing!!!! Give the customer what they want and your business succeeds. Gee what a great concept.

It's a novel idea. But I guess some businesses just dont think like that. I am glad you dont run any of these sites, because you are an idiot and a Jackass! You would tell your customers to phuck off for making a mistake, instead of trying to resolve the problem and make the situation better.
Just my opinion! Jesus
