Someone very good at poker once noted to never give up, let the blinds take you out before going on trash, you never know when your next hand will be AA.

3) I would think about calling only with jacks or higher. I'd have to assume that the caller ahead of me is probably not playing with anything worse than broadway overcards, and I would rather see the other two players duke it out than risk my tourney here against two hands that I assume are either beating me already or are very much alive.

You've still got a couple of hands before you hit the blinds again, which means you still have some chances to actually find a hand or steal the blinds with rags. I would rather fold here and hope that one of the players busts out than take my chances where I am likely already dominated.

However, if I know that both players in the hand ahead of you are very wild and loose, I might call with pocket 10s too.
