What is the "typical" player like at PS at this level? Would they, a la Party, be likely to call your PFR from BB w/ 55?

For me, the biggest worry is 99. Given the CR on the flop, then consistent value bets on the turn and river, that is quite likely. But that's also possible for an over-pair.
JJ/TT would probably play something like this.
AA/KK is doubtful, as he would be more likely to reraise PF. (Take that with a grain of salt. I've been seeing more and more limp/calls w/ AA on Party lately.)
86/64 is almost out of the question, even if it was Party with no other callers. Horrible pot odds to play SCs that low w/ a raise and only one other player.
I don't think AK would keep going to the well like this.

My read is JJ/TT or 99. Only way to tell with any certainty if he has a set is to raise him on the turn. If he calls or folds, he's probably got the overpair. If he reraises, he's got the set and you fold.

I would put him on a medium pair (77, 88, or TT). I think he's check raising the flop to see if he can throw you off AK. This is a very non-threatening flop, so I don't see why he wouldn't wait until the turn to check-raise if he had a set. That being said, I would raise (most likely) the flop - if he comes back over the top, he probably has a set, or if not the flop, the turn (but now you gave him a chance to catch his set ?...), and again if he comes back over the top you can lay it down. (Note: if he has 77 and you raise the turn, he will most likely smooth call, and put his chips in on the river)
