Which book would be best suited to help me learn/improve my short-handed play at the Party 5-10 6 max? HEFAP shorthanded section?

HEFAP shorthanded section is for heads-up and 3-handed games. If you played that way in a 6-handed game, you'd get killed.

[/ QUOTE ] ... but, if you "split the difference" between their 10-handed and 3-handed advice, that might not be so bad. You can also just take good Hold'em advice and treat being under-the-gun as if you were first to act in middle position at a full game, and you wouldn't be too far off, IMHO. |

go to the Heads up Short Handed forum and read, read, read. It's the best 6-max source there is.

also the online book holdem brain by king yao(google for it) has alot written on shorthanded, oh and read all articles by Jason Pohl on pokerpages.com too =)
