[ QUOTE ]
$100 trip cuts into the +EV quite a bit compared to a tank of gas and some tolls [/ QUOTE ] another way to think about it, is if you can do work on the train... and make $50 an hour, you can work for 7 hours on the train... $350 - $100 for net +$250 before taxes. I also live in DC, have no car, and would like to go to AC sometime. Perhaps 5 of us could get together and RENT a car together. It would work out to be a lot cheaper than taking the train.

i could be up for that sometime. i usually have a couple friends that i split up the expense with. I havent been in a while though because I used to get free rooms at the Bally's but i haven't been getting their postcards recently since I pretty much stopped playing anything except poker (at least until the wee hours of the morning when i get hammered and piss my poker winnings away at the craps table that is!)
