Default Partypoker vs. Pokerstars

I just switched from PokerStars to PartyPoker.

All I have to say is that the games at Partypoker are the softest I have ever seen anywhere. I will get 3-4 callers for 10x the BB preflop. I'll see 4/9 or 5/7 suited calling from UTG, then calling a $4 raise.

It goes on and on. Wow. Just wow.

Unfortunately... to finish off the other stereotype I'd heard of it, I lost 4 out of my 5 KK/AA hands to those 4/9's and 6/7 offsuits. Variance and all that is cool, but as far as losing heads up to those, heh it's wonderful who am I kidding. It's a big ocean I guess.

I hope when I've recovered from the beating I took today I can rake in some decent money. But why are the blinds so high compared to my chip stack? That is lame.

blinds are so high, because party poker want to keep the fish playing/gambling, so that the sharks can win money, but more importantly, the rake can be made w/o having the fish go broke too fast...
