Minimum system requirements for poker?
I am looking into getting another computer to use ONLY in playing poker. Does anyone know what the minimum system requirements would be?
I am most interested in Party and skins. The cheapest computer I'm looking at is a Dell Precision 410 PII 400MHz 128MB 13GB HD 8MB Video. Thanks in advance for help. |

Re: Minimum system requirements for poker?
How much are you gonna spend on this dell? Its good enough, but if you want to run PT or be able to 4 table this is not a good choice.

Re: Minimum system requirements for poker?
That's the thing, this one is being offered for $75. Any suggestions as to minimum processor, RAM, and video card if I want to 4-table and use PT?
Was hoping to keep it as cheap as possible, but it would be pretty stupid to save a couple hundred bucks with a cheapo computer only to lose it in a week by not being able to multi-table. |

Re: Minimum system requirements for poker?
Well, for 75$ you might as well buy it. When a good friend of mine moved out from his folks house he didnt have a cpu. Me and my other roommate built him an "abandon warez" computer. It was like a 486 or P2 or something. It didnt have a top, it had PC100 ram (and not much of it) a 32bit PCI video card and it sat atop a worse, broken computer. I think his HD was 3gigs or something. Buy this crapper, make some money and build a nice computer. I have 3 monitors. waPOWN!
