Look, on one level some of you are decidedly NOT poker players...you are simply people so desparately wanting to receive money for nothing that your sense of humanity is corrupted.

You are the kind of people we see on the nightly news, scurring about amid misfortune doing and saying the first desperate act (or the first bad thing about someone that can make it's way to your lips) that you can because you are so obsessed with yourself and feel slighted and must act out.

You are the kind of people rational every day people look at and mumble "My god...what are we coming to?" Only you don't see your plight--you can't or do not care that your soul (for lack of a better word--I'm a non-theist)is so out of kilter that you can not treat people with decency; and this can be noting more than a reflection of what you hold inside. You are rotting on the inside and do not see it...and do not know it. I pity you.

Get over it...and realize that nothing in this world is for free...and where it seems to be, tethered to it is always a reflection of what you hold inside yourself. Either accept that you have been 'fortunate' or admit that you are now walking a path where your hubris has lead you. Either way...grow up damnit!

You need to wake up and smell the [censored]. It stinks, and people like you that roll over are what the real problem is. NEWSFLASH - Lots of things in the world are handed to people with little or no effort. It happens every day. People are born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Others have to fight and scratch their way up. The world is not this perfect fair little eutopia that you seem to live in.

Who ever said it was? I'm just saying that--as much as I hate the Rush Limbaugh's and Sean Hannity's of this world, they are right about one thing: Too many people in this society have a 'gimme something for free' mentality that does speak to what kind of person they are--particularly when they bitch about when everything does not work out according to plan.

Have you heard about the 'stink' regarding Oprah Winfrey and her giving new cars away to members of her audience? Believe it or not, there are people belleyaching because they have to pay TAXES on their otherwise new and free car. Imagine that. Hey, they DON'T have to accept the cars...but if they do, they will have to pay taxes...greedy bastards!
