How do they determine who gets the rake?
I play mostly Party ring games and got to wondering where the rake was actually going. Say I'm at a full table with 7 Party players and 3 Empire players, the pot gets raked $3, where does it go?
Does it go to the skin the winning player is registered to? Is it distributed on a percentage basis? (In this example, Party gets 70%, Empire 30%) Anybody know? |

Re: How do they determine who gets the rake?
Yes. Hence the Gross Revenue formula for affiliate payment.

Re: How do they determine who gets the rake?
My guess:
6 party, 2 empire, 2 intertops players at a table and all rake would be shared 60%, 20%, 20% regardless of who won the pot. |

Re: How do they determine who gets the rake?
this has nothing to do with affiliate payment. he is wondering about how the skins get paid when there are players from several diffent sites on the same table. it could possibly be that the sites get paid in accordance with affiliate payment.
the way MGR works. say the max rake in a hand is 3$. and there are 9 players at the table. your rake contribution on that hand is 3$/9. so it is rake/#players. that is how they calculate affiliate payments. party will then give the affiliate a % say 20% of that rake contribution times the number of hands you have played for the month. But that has nothing to do with the original posters question although it may answer it. |
