Default tightest game ever!

This past Saturday, I sat at the tightest 4/8 game imaginable!

4/8 at Muckleshoot. Only 2 - 3 seeing the flop. Jeez! It took a while to get to a new table and the new table was only slightly better.

This is Ed Miller and Bernie's training ground. Looks like they've had an influence.

Only 2 - 3 seeing the flop.

Not to mention that it was folded around to the blinds frequently. Sometimes 3 or 4 hands in a row. It was amazing.

wow. I wasn't there sat. Doesn't sound like a good night if the 4-8 is tight. This is a rarity there. It's usually quite loose.

Default Muckleshoot: Re: tightest game ever!

That's what I thought! You and others have gone on about the great loose games at the Muck...and that's what I expected...

Oh well...

I was hoping to apply Ed Miller's tactics/strategery to the game, but alas, the cards were cold as well.

Wow sorry I was sick Sat and wasn't up there. Normally 3/4 of the going tables are 4/8 so I'd expect you should be able to get to something better. The 20/40 and 30/60 day games tend to play heads up and 3 handed quite a bit but every other game tends to be fairly loose.

The 10/20 first thing in the morning is tighter than a well diggers ass.

The looser games were probably at the higher limits.

If you were folding correctly, you probably were still applying his strategy. I was in a great game tonight. And lost. Sat down and didn't drag a pot for the first 2:15 i was there. Then went on a 3 hand run. Then sat for another 1:15+. It sucks.

shoulda sat in at the MN 2+2 gathering a few months back with Andy B, Vehn, myself and 6-7 others....

only reason that game was as loose as it was is because most of the games had 2-3 draws or discards -

The hold'em rounds at Bob T.'s place were ridiculously tight, and the high-low stud rounds weren't any better. bicyclekick was the only action in that game.

I played 2/4 a couple weeks ago like that. I won the blinds with an UTG raise..... THREE TIMES!
