Because most people - including me - want to play against other people, not machines.

As long as it's my money, I'll spend it playing where I want.

You, of course, can spend your money playing against computers, if you want.

And if you want to use your computer to play for you, you're free to do that too.

As long as

a.) you don't try to trick people into thinking they're playing against a human, and

b.) you're playing at a site for bots.

You just need to look into the history of online backgammon. If the majority of the players at a table are bots that play a breakeven game, there is no point in being at that table. The humans there leave, then there are only bots against bots.

Since these will not show much or any profit, they will then mostly disappear, then there are no more games. Then the casino loses rake. Therefore, poker rooms should do everything possible to eliminate bots.

Why is it that you think the online poker rooms go so far to promote their sites are fair?

On second thought, you can't be this stupid. I think it would be best to let this thread roll to page 2, but since you just posted, I'll bump it one spot.

It is a classic example of game theory, IMO - the "free rider" problem.

When I throw my trash on the highway, it's not that big a deal. It's only one piece of trash, after all.

It's only when everyone does what I do, that everyone loses out.

I think this clown just wanted to spam us with his name(site) and wanted it to look legit. Shouldn't be allowed.
