Default AJ against EP raiser

UTG+1 is typical PP player. Button is a super LAG. How did I play?

I don't know what a typical PP player is but I would usually fold this pre-flop.

Fold preflop against a typical player - failing that, 3-bet. Calling is not an option here. Fine otherwise.

Blecch. Fold preflop.

Flop I play the same. Once it's 3-bet, I'm calling and planning on folding the turn unimproved.

You picked up a gutshot, so your call was good. I'd call the river, too, based on the pot size, but I expect to lose.

I hate the preflop coldcall with AJo.

You should be routinely folding AJo and even AQo against a typical EP raiser. Against a player who would raise a wide range of hands from EP, you should reraise with AQ. I can't think of a time that flat calling would ever be correct with either hand.

Fold pf...

Since you didn't, rest looks fine, but you're probably beat.

Let's say the turn is a blank, like the 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I'm folding to a turn bet from UTG+1. Thoughts?

UTG calls, UTG+1 raises, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls,

Am I allowed to stop reading here, and say that I would fold.

I think you got yourself trapped here, and it got worse and worse. You might have been drawing to running jacks or a running straight after the flop. Or worse if your opponent flopped a set.

Your only real chance is that he had AT, and played this way, and I don't think that that is enough of a chance to want to get involved here.

Good luck,
play well,

Bob T.

At best, he is probably drawing to three outs, so the fold is probably correct. But it would have been easier to fold preflop.

heres your first mistake you cant call that for a riase preflop. But as for how you played it you have to make a choice you can either try to call down the ace and hope you win or raise the flop like you did. Now him 3 betting you with two callers in between probably indicates that hes got ak if nto a set of kk or soemthing to that extent. So id probably give it up on turn probbaly on the flop in knowledge that im drawing dead
