A7s - misplayed postflop?
Here's a hand from a session I just finished...
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: (6 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, BB bets, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls, MP2 folds, CO calls, SB raises, BB calls, Hero calls, CO folds. Turn: (6.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks. River: (6.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls. Final Pot: 9.50 BB Raise the flop? Bet the turn? Fold the river? Misplayed on every street? |

Re: A7s - misplayed postflop?
I'd take a free showdown here. I don't think this is a value bet. |

Re: A7s - misplayed postflop?
Raise the flop, you've probably got 6.5 outs if you are behind (2 7's, 3 A's, backdoor flush), plus you might be ahead. Bet any non-threatening turn if nobody aggresses, probably check behind on the river since not many worse hands will call you and you've already charged any draws.
