Any IT wizards
Hi,
I've just rebooted my pc with windows 2000 and have applied all of the updates in "windows update". When i changed my resolution the desktop shifted to the right. I changed the resolution back to what it was but the desktop hasnt moved. Any ideas. Cheers Harry |

Re: Any IT wizards
Try shifting it back to the left using the monitor's settings options on the monitor itself.

Re: Any IT wizards
There's 4 settings you need to adjust. Horizontal and vertical width and horizontal and vertical alignment. Make the width a bit larger and then re-align.

Re: Any IT wizards
There should be a menu button on your monitor that let's you see these settings.
Then you'll see like a TV screen with arrows <- -> and arrows up and down for adjusting the width and or height. Then you'll see like a a TV screen with a little square box for adjusting the alignment. |

I think you meant your subject to be "Any person that has ever used a computer before"
