Lets say you have QQ the chances are X when you have AK it will be Y, by how % much is X bigger than Y?

When you hold QQ the odds of someone having KK or AA is 12 divided by C(50,2)=.9796% so a little less than 1 in a 100. When you hold AK the odds are 6 divided by C(50,2) so exactly half. The numerator is 12 in the first example because there are 6 ways to make a pair from 4 As and the same for kings, with only 3 aces and 3 kings there are only 3 ways to make each pocket pair.
