KQo hand
Hey, I just moved up to $2/$4 from $1/$2 and this was from my first 100 or so hands. I had just played a few hands at this table, but UTG+1 had been pretty talkative, and just a few hands earlier he complimented someone else for making me fold with a turn bet ("Nice bet").
The question is, raise the turn? How about with no read at all? I felt I should've as soon as I hit call, but I haven't had much experience with stop n' go's back at $1/$2. Re: KQo hand
Personally, I call. If he's bluffing by trying to make you fold to a turn bet, don't take that play away from him. If you're beat, by raising, you've lost two or three bets; if you're not, he will likely fold to your raise.
That being said, you have to be putting him on KT in order for you to be ahead. Call seems prudent, regardless of the previous hand. |
