Cheapo octagon poker table top, but in Black?
I'm looking for table topper as an overflow backup for bigger tournaments. I'm going to buy one of the cheapo octagon toppers.
I saw this on the Walmart website, and I like that it's black, unlike all the other green ones I've seen. Also the trays are different, integrated into the rail. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=3138650 Seen this anywhere else? I couldn't find it inside a local Walmart. If not, what local chains have you seen selling the regular green ones? I'm not paying $30 shipping to an ebay seller. Ten |

Re: Cheapo octagon poker table top, but in Black?
I play every now and then in a free tournament at a local bar that uses these tabletops. They're ok - kinda cramped with a full 8 people but if you're just using them for backup that's not bad.
I don't have an answer for your question though, none of our local stores carry them. |

I DID see one of these at Sears, but it was $60. I've had one guy say he got one at a Wal-Mart, but I've not found one yet. ANYONE see these at Wal-Mart? Important: Which area of the store? What was near these? Ten |

Re: Cheapo octagon poker table top, but in Black?
Ten - As discussed, I picked one up, but I returned it shortly thereafter. Unless you are going to put it on a table that is larger than the octagon - forget it.
It's too flimsy, and anything hanging over the table edge will quickly be bent or broken off by an elbow... J5 |
