Default Played Against Huck Seed

So I sneak into Foxwoods with my friend John, and I end up sittin at the 100 NL table there... GEt to about 350, and lose everything in one hand....

SB: Q9 (me)
BB: 55 (fish, but gets lucky this hand)

Board: Q 9 5..... Guy bets out 25$, I raise to 100... call.
Turn: Before I see the card, im all in the dark... call
River: x I lose 350$ to a tourist who got lucky...

What do I do? I take my 600$ remaining and sit at the table with 7 people, with stacks over 10,000$.... 5 - 5 blinds.... I see Huck Seed sitting 2 seats to the right of me.

Heres a few hands I played against him:

Im dealt AK... He has some crap that he raises every pot... (First hand at the table)

he bets 75$ preflop.... I call with AsKc, its heads up...
2s 4s 5c Board... He bets 150$, I reraise all in for 400 or so.... he folds...

Hand 2: I get dealt AhQh... he raises to 50$ preflop, I call...
2h 3h Jc , he bets 100$... I call..
Turn is a 7s he bets 200$... I call....
River Ac... he checks, I check.... I clown him out #1...

Hand 3: I get dealt AsKs...
Huck raises 35$ preflop. I call and theres 1 other caller...
Flop: Q J 10 rainbow... checks around
Turn: 3 The limper bets 75$, huck reraises 1300$ total.... I hover my chips into the middle... Instantly, the guy that bet 75 calls, huck folds... We both have AK, we chop the pot...

There were a few good hands against other players...

I had AsKd and I raise 30 preflop.... 3 callers...
Flop: 7d8d9d I check, im first to act, guy bets out 200$, (He has 300$ remaining), I have 2 overs to the board and a Kd, I raise to 505$ which is all in for that guy.... He thinks. then lays down QcQs... Puzzling...

This guy just lost a 4000$ pot and is on tilt, I get AK yet again (I was at this table for like 5 hours).... This old guy calls my raise instantly preflop, and I know he has shyt, cause hes on hyper tilt....

Flop: 5 A 5 I check... He checks...
Turn: 7 HE bets 300$ into a 80$ pot... My AK looks crazy... I know hes on tilt, and he could easily have a 5, or 77, cause he showed down some retarded hands earlier... and he bullies a lot... I end up making the call.
river: x After seeing my call, he mucked his cards on the river in disgust, and storms off the table...

Overall, Ed Moussa still sucks at poker, and got lucky against top players... Huck Seed is avery good player, he was playin very well.

Ed starts with 600, left with 2600.... Not a bad payday.

This doesnt make any sense at all, this is a 100nl game and people are stackes of 10,000? and raises 75, then a guy makes it like 1300 to go in a 200$ pot with the nuts?

To those who've said the tourist wasn't lucky, I guess it depends on what you mean by luck. 55 was obviously ahead before the flop, but he was lucky to flop a set at the same time as his opponent flopped 2 pair. You could say he was lucky, not because he flopped a set, but because his opponent flopped 2 pair. Because his opponent also hit the flop hard (but not as hard as he did) he was able to get action to make his set pay off. I think this classifies as luck. If I was in the BB and the SB flopped 2 pairs whilst I flopped a set, I would consider myself very lucky. Even the most fishy smelling tourist could take money from a world class player with that flop.

Sounds like you had a great night in the end though!

The "fish" was lucky. Had nothing to do with the flop though.

This sounds like the game memorial day Monday….The game was real juiced up with several stacks of over 10k....I left when the main action player left (after bluffing off most of his chips to me)…..Unfortunately he apparently came back….Huck was the next player on the list when I left and probably took my seat….I did play with Huck quite a bit over the weekend and was impressed by his tremendous instincts. On the other hand, he did blow a lot of money, mostly bluffing at unbluffable players, so what the hell do I know…Anyway, congrats on the win!

By the way, I think everybody playing in the 1-2 blind $100 max buyin NLHE game is by definition a ‘tourist’
