Default Does anyone burn shows to DVD?

I don't have a TIVO and was wondering if anyone obessively tapes all poker on tv and burns them to DVD? I would be interesting in paying for something like that.

No DVD, but I have pretty much all of the last 2 months of Poker recorded onto VHS tapes.

To be honest I really have no idea all of what I have now. I just found out I taped over 2 of the WSOP prelim events today. They were replaced with a WPT episode. I have all but one of the PSI episodes. I have all of teh Main Event episodes. I have like 4-6 WSOP prelim episodes and I have a 4 hour live telecast of the Turning Stone tournament which Phil Ivey won. I might have a few more, but I can't be sure until I organize them.

I have a tivo-like device for my PC, and have indeed been recording all of the poker shows (with exception to celebrity poker, cuz I can't get that channel without digital cable). I've started burning all the WSOP stuff to DVD, the WPT stuff is my next adventure.

Unfortunately I don't burn them as DVDs, but just as the raw video files on a DVD (meaning you can play it on windows media player, but not in your home DVD player). This way I can fit multiple episodes on one disc with the best quality.

On one of the online forums, there are links to nova torrent downloads of a number of tournaments (including the Turning Stone tournament, I believe). I would think that you could download them to your pc, and then burn them to dvd. The forum is http://www.thepokerresource.com/

By the way, you have to download nova torrent (a shareware file) first. Hope this helps.
