reads are hard in these games.

i play this limit and I most definitely agree and would dare say almost impossible.

I'd still consider my read to be hard since this player bet the way he did with that hand.

True, its a difficult read, but if you 3-bet then it costs you a dollar here, to find out loads of information on whether or not you should call the turn for another $1.

If you simply call, you find out nothing, then you most likely will have to call the turn and that will cost you $1.50 at least, if there are no more raises. Its sort of the same for semi-bluffing on the flop. Since the bets increase on the turn, you can raise a straight or flush draw here for $1, getting a free river card (hopefully) So you get to see the next two cards for $1. However, if you call (as HPFAP seems to be constantly reminding me is rarely the right move), then you cost yourself $1.50. .50 for the flop and 1 for the next bet on the turn. Just something to think about.
