I like the preflop call opposed to pushing considering you have two other players to shake off and raiser is a tight, straight forward player. Good bet on the flop, curious why he didn't raise so I figure 88-AA or it's gonna be chopped? However, he probably would've raised with his AK or 77 [maybe]. Good push on turn if he does have AK cause you might be able to shake him off of it, although he may have the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. You also have to ask yourself if he's the type of player to call with a flush draw with a pair on the board, since you're out of position. However, you are able to act first on the scare card. Nicely played in my opinion, but you're beating more hands than not so hopefully he'll pay you off. Sorry but I'm not sure if this was a helpful reponse, but I thought I would give it a shot and see if people think my newbie reasoning is somewhat on the right track.

right, the only hand I'm afraid of is AsK or AsQs. I don't think he would raise there preflop w/ AsQs, but I guess it's possible. I just figured I'd push to 1) charge a live flush draw and 2) because he wouldn't be able to fold QQ / JJ / AA anyway.

He wouldnt be able to fold QQ, JJ or AA with 2 kings on the flop? Theres no way I would call your all in with any of those hands.

That is an amatuer hour call. If you push all in as a bluff with no king then so be it. Im not calling and I think its horrible.

Agreed. The only hands that he will call this bet with are

a) A flush
b) A full house (77)
c) KQ, KJ (Would he really raise these hands?)

If you get called, you're beat more often than not, I think. Make a standard bet here, maybe 2/3-Pot Sized and re-evaluate after seeing his action. You give flush draws bad odds to call, and still might get called down by a worse hand like AA,QQ-TT.
