help settle the debate
its a no-limit home game, tournament. £40 buy-in, no rebuys, my friend is usually solid, so am I... the other 8 are fishy! very fishy...any two can win etc. 1st and 2nd pays out, blinds go up every 25 minutes.
2nd hand of the night, my friend (hero) is dealt 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in the BB he raises 20 chips (1/4 of stack) and it is folded to button who calls. Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hero raises 20 chips button calls Turn 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hero raises 20 chips button calls river 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] hero checks button checks button shows Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] now my argument is that the raise on the flop was weak... and the turn raise was unjustified and he deserved to lose. my friend insists he played it right against someone he knows to be a bad player. any thoughts? |
