Question for Fundamentalist Christians

I think there are a lot of posters here who believe that every word in the Bible should be taken literally. If you are one of these people, how do you reconcile the many places in the Bible that contradict each other. Is your god confused? Is he wishy-washy or dare I say a flip-flopper? Seriously, how can you explain this? I'd prefer if no one replied that I should just look for some old posts. I did look, although not for very long.
