Question for Fundamentalist Christians

I think there are a lot of posters here who believe that every word in the Bible should be taken literally. If you are one of these people, how do you reconcile the many places in the Bible that contradict each other. Is your god confused? Is he wishy-washy or dare I say a flip-flopper? Seriously, how can you explain this? I'd prefer if no one replied that I should just look for some old posts. I did look, although not for very long. I'm trying to repay Sklansky for all his great posts by generating some new additional page views for him.

If you aren't sure what I mean by contradictions, you can find a few hundred here:

Re: Question for Fundamentalist Christians

In sense the scriptural approach takes a formalist approach to human logic.
Human logic is necessarily fallen, and therefore flawed,
the apparent contradictions are either down to our incomplete knowledge or our necessarily flawed logic.

That is the confessional lutheran perspective.
