I would think if you knew what you ROI was (over a consistent bases) at a certain level you have already beat it enough to have more than enough buy-ins to have you covered. Bankroll questions usually come up when you are just starting at the low levels, or when you are moving up after beating the low levels, no? In both questions the ROI would be unknown.
